Huard's Martial Arts is a school that enjoys competing as much as we enjoy just training. Lots of students choose to compete while others find the fitness, self confidence and friendship benefits of studying the arts more to their liking. For those who like competitions we have teams to represent martial arts events in Maine and New England.

HSK Team Huard's Sport Karate Team competes in local tournaments all over Maine and New England. Members have won numerous tournaments and state champion awards. Each competitor competes in events such as point fighting, forms, weapons, and musical forms. Team coaches are Mark Huard and Jayme Dennis Ladd.

Grappling Tiger Team: This grappling team is an everchanging team of students who like to grapple and compete. In the past members have won Maine Skirmish titles, New England Open divisions, and State Judo championships.

Chanbara New England: This weapons fighting team is our new now forming team ready for the upcoming wave of Chanbara tournaments soon to hit the region.
