We’re the proud pioneers and sponsors of two very big exciting, current competitions in Maine, The Battle of Maine & The Maine Skirmish. Putting together and hosting such events is a tremendous out taking and we thank all students family and friends for all your much needed help in this manner- without you guys these tournaments would never be so successful, nor lasted so very long.
The Battle of Maine first began in 1980- imagine that- one of the first and longest Karate events still going in the history of Maine Martial Arts. This is an event for the whole family. A tradition we hope will last generations to come. Join us at the Sukee Arena and events Center in Winslow Maine each spring for fun Karate and Chanbara competition.

The Maine Skirmish was started in 1996. There we very little if any open grappling tournaments in New England then- and man the event took off like wildfire. Many years later with much dedication the best grapplers in Maine and New England states still gather for the annual fall competition. For more info the Skirmish- check out the website link below.
